Nikon D80 resources
28 December 2022
Mid-range DSLR with much of the capability of the more expensive D200 at a lower price. Cost-cutting resulted in a lower frame rate (3fps compared to the D200's 5fps) and the D80 doesn't have the professional standard of weather sealing of the D200. Maximum ISO of just 3200 is limiting compared to today's digital cameras, too. As it has the same 10MP sensor, 2.5in rear screen and 11-point autofocus as the D200 it makes similar prices to its big brother and is therefore not quite such a bargain.
