Nikon D5000 resources
9 January 2022
12.3MP DSLR which was Nikon's first with a tilt and swivel rear screen. No internal focus motor so has to use AF-S lenses. Like the D90 introduced a year earlier the D5000 has a video mode, though each shot is limited to five minutes. Capable of good results, but more sophisticated cameras like the D7000 offer easier access to some settings and compatibility with non-AF-S lenses.
